About me

Canhui Wang is currently a Lecturer (Research & Teaching) with Network and Information Security (NIS), the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Huaqiao University, Xiamen. He is also affiliated with Xiamen Key Laboratory of Data Security and Blockchain Technology, and Key Laboratory of Computer Vision and Machine Learning of Fujian Provincial Universities (Network and Application Intelligence Direction). Before that, he was a senior engineer (PI) with a full sponsorship by Research Talent Hub, Innovation and Technology Fund (RTH-ITF), with Applied Cryptosystems, Trust and AI technologies, at the ASTRI Security Lab, Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI), Sha Tin, Hong Kong, working with Dr. Eric P. F. Lam. He received his Ph.D. degree in computer science from Hong Kong Baptist University, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong, under the supervision of Prof. Xiaowen Chu, in 2023; and B.Eng. degree in software engineering from Shandong University, Jinan, China, in 2016. He worked in the Inspur-HKBU Joint Laboratory for Heterogeneous Computing, the High-Performance Machine Learning Laboratory, and the Blockchain and FinTech Lab with Prof. Chu. He is a member of IEEE, a member of ACM, and a member of CCF. His research area is networking and distributed systems, including network measurement, performance evaluation, and blockchain systems.
